On 1 October 2021, the company adopts the new ASTOTEC brand and a new slogan to reflect its shared vision: FUTURE POWERED BY EXCELLENCE.
First certification to EN ISO 14001:2004.
Assembly production using fully automated stamping and bending machines.
First certification to EN ISO 9001:2000.
Start of the “Schuster era”, which has lasted until June 2023. The Schuster family of entrepreneurs took over the reins of the company and pressed ahead with expanding the product portfolio.
The company began to strategically expand its product portfolio to the civilian sector in 1993, creating the basis for today’s subsidiaries Astotec Metal Processing and Astotec Automotive.
Originally established by Serfin Keller as an ammunition factory in Hirtenberg, today ASTOTEC is an international technology company with three successful lines of business (Automotive, Metal Processing and Pyrotechnic Solutions).
